JKBOPEE Announces Admission for 12th-Based Para-Medical Diploma Courses 2025

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has announced admission notification for 12th based Para-medical Diploma courses, session 2025. JKBOPEE is inviting online applications from eligible candidates who want to appear in Common Entrance Test (CET) to get admission in 12th based Para-medical diploma courses such as X-ray tech. Dental Assistant, ECG tech, Med./Pharma Assistant, Lab Assistant. etc, including Medical Record Tech. (MRT).

JKBOPEE will conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission 12th based Para-medical courses likely in April 3rd week. And as per official notification the JKBOPEE is inviting online applications from the eligible/desirous candidates who intend to appear in the Common Entrance Test for admission to 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the Academic Session-2025 in the Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of the UT of J&K/Ladakh.

Introduction:

Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination commonly known as JKBOPEE is the official government organization responsible for conducting entrance exams for various professional courses in UT of Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh.

The board is established under the J&K BOPEE Act, 2002, and manages admissions to engineering, medical, and other professional courses in government and private institutions. The board maintains a transparency and ensures merit-based selection process, following the latest reservation policies and regulations.

JKBOPEE 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses 2025: Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria For Paramedical Diploma Courses:

1. Domicile: Applicants must be domiciles of the UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh. ST certificates issued by the Competent Authority will be treated as domicile certificates for Ladakh residents.
2. Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of 1st January 2025.
3. Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Science subjects from a recognized board.
4. Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit.

Eligibility criteria For Medical Record Technician (MRT) Course:

1. Domicile: Same as above.
2. Age Limit: 17 to 28 years as of 31st December 2025.
3. Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% for open merit and 40% for reserved categories.
4. Candidates must be medically fit.

Important Note: The candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2025 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify the 12th class examination on or before the time of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test / or on or before the date of counseling as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled an initio.

Application Process:

The application process will start from 12th of March 2025. Applicants have to apply online on official website of JKBOPEE only. After filling online application, candidates have to pay ₹1000 application fee which can be paid online using debit card, net banking etc.
