The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) recently conducted successfully the Annual Regular exam of class 10th and class 12th session 2024.
JKBOSE conducted exam for both classes smoothly without any break except class 12th Physical Education paper. Class 12th Physical Education paper was postponed which was scheduled on 20th of March 2024, but due to the major lapse in distribution of question paper. The students got question paper based on class 11th Syllabus. By taking quick action Board postponed physical education paper to 30th of March 2024.
Overall, the examination of class 10th and 12th was conducted peacefully in soft zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKBOSE exam Highlights.
The Annual Regular examination of class 10th in soft zone areas of union territory Jammu and Kashmir was started on 7th of March 2024, for vocational subjects. First compulsory subject exam was scheduled for 11th of March 2024.

Question Paper was average and based on new Rationalised Syllabus released by Board. Exam successfully ended on 3rd April 2024.
In a same way, Class 12th exam was started from 6th of March 2024 in soft zone areas of union territory Jammu and Kashmir. The Annual Regular exam for class 12th, session 2023-24 was end on 28th March 2024 for all faculties except arts faculty, arts faculty exam was ended on 30th of March 2024.
Annual Regular Result
In Soft zone areas of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, board has conducted successfully exams and in hard zone areas board is going to conduct the Annual Regular exam session 2023-24. JKBOSE conducts Regular exam in soft zone areas and hard zone areas seperately but board declares result together for both hard zones and soft zone areas.
As per Academic Calendar released by board for UT of Jammu & Kashmir/UT of Ladakh for the Academic Session 2023-24, the Annual Regular result of class 10th will be in the 3rd week of June for Results for both soft and hard zone areas of union territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Hard zone areas of union territory of Ladakh.
Also the Annual Regular result of class 12th will be declared in the 2nd week of June, for both Jammu & Kashmir Divisions/UT of Ladakh & Hard zone areas of Jammu/Kashmir Divisions.
JKBOSE will declare the Annual Regular result of class 10th and class 12th on official website of board and will be available on JK Tweet in the form of PDF Gazette, few minutes after release by Board.
