Srinagar, 30 June (JKT): The Government of Jammu and Kashmir announced Summer Vacation in the schools of Kashmir division. Summer vacation is starting from 8th of July in Kashmir division.
All the Government and Private recognised schools upto higher secondary level will observe 10 day summer vacation from 8th of July to 17th of July.
Earlier, while speaking to the media, Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education, said, ‘Vacations will start from July 8th as the MET department has predicted rainfall until July 7th.
Now the Department of School Education has released official order which states “it is hereby ordered that all the Government and Private Recognized Schools upto higher secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division shall observe summer vacation w.e.f 8th July, 2024 To 17th July 2024.”
Moreover, Kashmir Valley has witnessed a rise in day temperatures over the past week; however, the Meteorological Department has now forecasted wet weather until July 7th. (JKT — JK Tweet)
