Srinagar, Aug 10 (JKT): The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) has announced new school timeing for Schools in Kashmir Division. As per new order issued by Director of School Education Kashmir, new school timing in Kashmir division will be effective from August 12.
The timing for schools within Srinagar Municipal Limits will be 09:00am to 03:00pm, and the timing for schools outside the Srinagar Municipal Limits will be 10:00am to 04:00pm.
The Director of School Education Kashmir had decided to change school timings due to the heatwave. The usual school timings were adjusted because of the heatwave, with new timings set where teaching and non-teaching staff were required to be present from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and students were to attend from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Now, the school timings have been changed to normal. Starting from August 12, schools within the Srinagar Municipal Limits will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and schools outside the Srinagar Municipal Limits will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (JKT — JK Tweet)
