The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board released syllabus for the written test for 4002 post(s) of J&K Police Constables. Syllabus is now available on official website.
Earlier this year, The Ministry of Home Department refered 4002 J&K Police constable vacancies to JKSSB. The Home Department referred 4002 new vacancies for J&K Police Constables to the JKSSB.
The JKSSB released notification regarding these vacancies. There are total 4002 positions, divided as follows:
- Armed / IRP – 1689
- Constable SDRF – 100
- Constable (Telecom) – 502
- Constable (Driver) – 20
- Constable (Photography) – 22
- Constable Executive Police in the divisional cadre – 1689
- 1249 posts for Jammu
- 440 posts for Kashmir.
Now the J&K Service Selection Board released syllabus for the entrence test.
As per official notification a copy of which we got for JK Tweet, “Accordingly, the syllabus for the posts of Constable (Armed/IRP), Constable (SDRF) and Constable (Executive Police) is notified for the information of candidates as Annexure A, to this Notice. The Syllabus for the posts of Constable (Telecommunication) and Constable (Photographer) is notified as Annexure B and Annexure C, respectively”.
J&K Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern & Syllabus
As per official Syllabus there will be total of 100 questions and each question has 1 marks. So the total marks will be 100. Maximum time to attend paper will be 2 hours. Direct Link to download Syllabus.
Syllabus for Written Test for the post of Constables (Executive Police/Armed/IRP/SDRF) is divided into 5 parts.
- General English
- General Knowledge and current affairs (India)
- General Knowledge with special reference to J&K
- Numerical and Reasoning Ability
- Basic Concepts of Computers.
