Srinagar, 3 July: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification today regarding 4022 new vacancies for Constables that were referred to the JKSSB by the Home Department.
According to today’s notification from the JKSSB, “The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) is in receipt of an indent for making selections against the posts of Constable (Home Department) you. The Advertisement Notification inviting applications from the eligible candidates for these posts is being issued shortly.”
Additionally, “The candidates, in their own interest, are advised to keep ready their valid documents for Educational Qualification, Reserved Category certificate, etc., issued by the Competent Authority, within the cut-off date. These certificates should be as per the extant applicable Rules of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Recently, the Home Department referred 4022 new vacancies for J&K Police Constables to the JKSSB.
The JKSSB has released the first notice regarding these vacancies. Speaking of these vacancies, they are total 4022 positions, divided as follows:
- Armed / IRP – 1689
- Constable SDRF – 100
- Constable (Telecom) – 502
- Constable (Driver) – 20
- Constable (Photography) – 22
- Constable Executive Police in the divisional cadre – 1689
- 1249 posts for Jammu
- 440 posts for Kashmir.
