Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal in the Islamic calendar; this does not always fall on the same Gregorian day, as the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities.
Eid-ul-fitr will be celebrated at the end of holy month of Ramadan and it may celebrate on 10th April in India and Pakistan.
As per the independent Weather forecaster Faizan Arif, there is a more than 80% chances of cresent moon may seen on 9th april 2024 evening. And Eid-ul-fitr Would be celebrated on 10th April 2024 in Jammu and Kashmir, India & Pakistan.
The Eid-ul-fitr is expected to be celebrated in middle East countries like Saudia Arabia, Palestine, Egypt, Iran and Iraq etc on April 10th, with a high probability of moon sighting on the evening of April 9th. There is more then 95% chances that the cresent moon may seen on 9th april 2024 evening.
Overall the weather will remain clear on eid day that may be 10th of April 2024 in Jammu and Kashmir.
