JKBOPEE admission notification: Apply for B-Pharmacy & D-Pharmacy Course-2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) is inviting online Applications for admission to B-Pharmacy & D-Pharmacy Course-2024 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K.

Online Applications are invited from the eligible/desirous candidates who intend to appear in the Common Entrance Test for admission to B-Pharmacy &D-Pharmacy Courses for the academic session-2024 in Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K.

Eligibility for B-Pharmacy Course:

The candidates applying for admission to B-Pharmacy Course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

• be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
• be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024.
• shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology as optional subjects individually. “However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling; open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharma Course.”
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
• However, the candidates appearing / appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify 12th Class examination on or before the date of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test / or on or before the date of counselling, as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled ab-intitio.

Eligibility for B-Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) Course:

• be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate).
• has passed D- Pharmacy Course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Eligibility for D-Pharmacy Courses:

The candidates applying for admission to D-Pharmacy Course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;A candidate must:

• be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
• not have crossed maximum age of 35 years on 01-01-2024;
• have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board / University with Science subject viz Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and English securing minimum 40% marks in aggregate;
• be medically fit.
• However, the candidates appearing / appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have to qualify 12th Class examination on or before the date of declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test / or on or before the date of counselling, as may be notified by the Board, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled ab-intitio.

Important Dates:

• Online application forms: w.e.f. 07-04-2024.
• Last date for filling the online application forms: 21-04-2024 (Midnight).
• Date of Common Entrance Test: (tentatively on 19-05-2024

How to Apply?

To Apply for for admission to B-Pharmacy & D-Pharmacy Course-2024 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K, follow these steps.

1. Visit the official website of JKBOPEE that is jkbopee.gov.in
2. Go to the online Application Section.
3. Then find B. Pharmacy, Click on it.
4. A new dashboard will open
5. Now fill the details.
6. Then Upload documents.
7. Submit Application
