JKBOPEE admission notification: Apply for B.Sc. Nursing/Paramedical/Technology courses 2024

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) released notification regarding the Admission to B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc. Paramedical /B.Sc. Technology Courses-2024 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K: Invitation of online applications.

As per official notification a copy which we got for JKT — JK Tweet, Online Applications are invited from the eligible/desirous candidates who intend to appear in the Entrance Test for admission to B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc. Paramedical / B.Sc. Technology Courses for the academic session-2024 in Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K.

Important Dates:

• Online application forms: w.e.f. 30-03-2024.
• Last date for filling the online application forms: 13-04-2024 (Midnight).
• Date of Common Entrance Test: (tentatively on 12-05-2024).

Submission of Online Application Forms:

The interested candidates are required to upload the following scanned original / self-attested certificates in PDF format with size from 100-200 KB along with the Application Form:

(i) domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate),
(ii) Qualifying marks (12th Class) certificate; (where result is declared),
(iii) Date of Birth Certificate (only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board of School Education); and
(iv) Valid Reserved category certificate, if any,
(v) Any other documents, as requested.

However, it is for the information of all the concerned that afore-titled documents as required for submission of application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s), if any, as may be notified by the Government subsequently.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing Programme:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria; A candidate must:

• (i) be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
• (ii) be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024.
• (iii) have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken
• together and passed in English individually including the candidates from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
• (iv) For the candidates belonging to reserved categories, the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General category candidates.
• (v) The candidate must be medically fit.

Further the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling /admission as may be notified by the Board.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria; A candidate must:

• (i) be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
• (ii) be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024;
• (iii) have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (PCB) and English through a recognized Board / University securing minimum 50% marks and above for Open Merit Candidates and 40 % marks and above for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories in aggregate; Further, the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination; 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admission as may be notified by the Board; The candidates applying for Lateral Entry only must have obtained diploma in concerned stream and having passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and diploma registered with J&K Para-Medical Council.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Technology Courses in SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar:

• A candidate must: a. be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
• b. be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2024,
• c. have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (PCB) and English through recognized Board / University securing minimum 50% marks and above for Open Merit Candidates and 40% marks and above for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories in aggregate; Further, the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result in the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admissions may be notified by the Board.

Syllabus:

The candidates applying for the courses mentioned above at (A), (B), (C), are advised to go through the syllabus for Common Entrance Test referred to in e- information brochure of B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Paramedical / B.Sc. Technology Courses available on BOPEE website www.jkbopee.gov.in.

Roll No Slip/Admit Card:

The Notification for downloading of online electronic Admit Cards will be issued separately.

Venue for Conduct of Examination:

The Common Entrance Examination shall be conducted offline at Jammu / Srinagar Centre’s simultaneously as may be decided by the Board.
